Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

At the age of four, Bryn watched a rogue werewolf brutally murder her parents. Aline in the world, she was rescued and taken in by the mysterious Callum, the alpha of his werewolf pack. Now fifteen, Bryn's been raised as a human among werewolves, adhering to the pack rule (mostly). Little fazes her.
But the pack's been keeping a secret and when Bryn goes exploring against Callum's direct orders, she finds Chase, a newly turned teen Were locked in a cage. Terrifying memories of the attack on her mom and dad come flooding back. Bryn needs answers, and she needs Chase to get them. Suddenly, all allegiances to the pack no longer matter. It's Bryn and Chase against the werewolf world, whatever the consequences.
This story takes werewolves to the next level. It shows the intricate bonds that a person's family, and in this case pack, has. The struggle Bryn goes through relates to many people. Choosing, and having, between what you always knew and the truth. This book shows, in action, the 'everything has a consequence' that we hear all the time. I myself loved this book. The witty comments it holds kept me smiling. The action and the suspense kept me turning the pages. The characters made me love the book and connect to it more than I expected. I'm usually pretty good at guessing what will happen next, and this book kept me on my toes. Each page and every chapter threw me a spin I didn't expect. I would give this book 4  1/2 stars. But read it yourself and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
